Do you feel you are not being respected the way you should be? Speak up. Not everyone knows how to give credit where credit is due, so if you feel you are not being as respected as you should be right now, speak up. You might be doing the other person a service by reminding them that you are part of things, too. Certain people -- like the powers that be -- need to be made aware of the fact that you are a force to be reckoned with. If you are not given what you deserve, you need to ask for it. Don't worry that people will think you are being too egotistical. They'll be impressed.
